Dr. Vanessa F. Harrison provides leadership in coordinating, designing, implementing, and interpreting assessment, evaluation, and research projects to support and serve as a resource for Student Affairs.

Prior to joining Student Affairs, Dr. Harrison managed the planning, implementation, and evaluation process of federally funded, applied research projects, while also serving as an instructor for experiential learning in connection with funded research. She is a graduate of Auburn University’s doctoral program in Educational Psychology, where her training focused on program evaluation and research methods, and continues her involvement with the Department of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology, serving as adjunct faculty for graduate-level Educational Research Methods and Assessment courses.

An educator at heart, Dr. Harrison is deeply committed to supporting students holistically during their academic journey and setting positive trajectories for life beyond graduation and is also currently serving as an instructor for First Year Experience seminar courses.

Kailea Q. Manning

Kailea Q. Manning assists with developing assessment and strategic planning resources, performing data entry and analysis for assessment findings, researching best practices in student affairs assessment, updating the Assessment & Strategic Planning website, and developing surveys, focus groups, and other assessments.

Originally from Ocala, Florida, Kailea moved to Georgia to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Middle Georgia State University. She then attended Augusta University, earning a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology, where she contributed to a grant funded by the NSF and the University of Georgia on STEM student success. This role honed her skills in program evaluation, data analysis, and student support.

Continuing her academic journey at Auburn University, Kailea recently earned a second Master’s in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation and is completing her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. At Auburn, she has engaged in collaborative grants, research partnerships, program evaluations, and teaching. Kailea is committed to her growth in the Assessment & Strategic Planning office, aiming to elevate educational standards and outcomes.
